Commitment to historic properties
While Worcester Eisenbrandt, Inc., performs new construction projects every year, we continue to specialize in the repair and conservation of highly significant structures that require knowledge and experience in the treatment of historic building materials. Approximately 70 percent of our projects have been architecturally, historically, or culturally significant in nature. Many of them are listed in or have been identified as potentially eligible for the National Register of Historic places.
Accomplishing your goals
Our ability to self-perform most project scope requirements—in both labor force and technical expertise—assures our customers and clients of high-quality, lasting work that is completed on schedule and within budget. WEI typically employs over 100 personnel, the vast majority of which are tradesmen or field operators. In-house facilities provide extensive custom wood and metal fabrication capacity and capability for our projects.
Preserving your home
WEI is specifically licensed for residential projects, and understands the particular needs of a homeowner for efficient and attractive work. We apply the same exacting standards of craftsmanship to sensitively repair your historic home as we would a National Historic Landmark.
Respect for historic materials
Our commitment to a high and consistent standard for historic preservation projects has led us to establish a new division, Architectural Preservation Services, LLC. Our highly trained architectural conservators with many years of professional experience can direct and undertake the specialized treatments required to conserve historic building materials.
Down to the last detail
WEI’s exhibit design division, Exhibit Hues, provides highly unique exhibitions, sculptural components, and environments, with an emphasis on originality and executed with a high level of craftsmanship. The director brings over 15 years of experience as an exhibit specialist with the Smithsonian Institution and executing specialized interior finishing techniques, such as faux-bois and stone textures, metal leaf, and distressed surfaces that often complete historic interiors.
